Inside BLKBX: Full Production in Studio P with Skillet

Skillet built the show from the ground up inside Studio P at BLKBX while preparing for the Take Control, It’s Now or Never Spring 2026 run. This went beyond a standard band rehearsal, with the space supporting a full production setup ahead of going on the road.

Located in Franklin, Tennessee, BLKBX Studios & Storage is a production rehearsal facility serving Nashville and touring artists who need a professional space to develop live shows. Studio P is designed to accommodate full-system rehearsals, giving touring productions the room and infrastructure needed to prepare in one place.

Studio P allows lighting, video, and audio systems to be set up and run together, giving production teams the ability to work through a show in a controlled environment before load-in at the first venue.

The studio also supports efficient load-ins with direct ramp access and shared loading docks, making it easier to move equipment in and out during the build process.

Beyond the rehearsal floor, Studio P includes a mix suite, production office, and green room. These spaces provide areas for engineers, production managers, and artists to work alongside the rehearsal process.

With the ability to support full production setups and not just rehearsals, Studio P provides a practical environment for touring artists preparing shows for the road.
